Scott Garrett is a native of Lynchburg who has served as a General Surgeon since 1989 with over 13,000 patients entrusted to his care. In May 2006, Scott was elected to an at-large City Council seat. During his time on Council he has been a strong voice for fiscal responsibility and keeping city government accountable to the taxpayers. Scott is running because he wants to fight to create, protect and preserve jobs for our families, provide a first-class education for our children by optimizing class sizes, rewarding our best teachers, and keeping more education dollars in the classroom, and give all families access to the quality health care they need and deserve.
