Thomas Davis Rust, an engineer with a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech and Master’s Degrees in both Public Works Engineering and Urban and Environmental Planning, was Mayor of Herndon for 19 years. He currently serves in the House of Delegates and is on the Commerce & Labor, Education, Transportation, and Science and Technology Committees.
