Virginia House of Delegates Speaker William J. Howell (R-Stafford) issued the following statement Wednesday on Delegate David Ramadan’s decision to not seek re-election in November.

“I regret that David has decided to not seek re-election, but am grateful for his service to the Commonwealth and the House of Delegates. I know he always considered it a great honor and privilege to serve in the House. Like all citizen legislators, David sacrificed a great deal to serve his constituents. He always advocated on their behalf with passion and tireless determination. On behalf of his colleagues, I thank him and wish him well in his future endeavors.”
