Delegate Chris Collins represents the 29th District in the Virginia House of Delegates which encompasses the City of Winchester, Frederick and Warren Counties. In 2015, Delegate Collins was elected to his first term in the Virginia House of Delegates where he serves on the House Courts of Justice Committee and the House Counties, Cities, and Town Committee.

Chris Collins believes the people of the 29th district deserve a delegate that listens and responds to their concerns; including those who currently have no voice at all.

Chris, his wife Therese, and nine year old son, Noah have called Winchester and Frederick County home for years. Since graduating from JMU and serving as a member in the National Guard, Chris has owned and operated a small business, served as a deputy sheriff and volunteer firefighter, and acted in numerous community leadership roles up to and including Frederick County Board of Supervisors. Chris is a 2003 graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law, and currently practices criminal defense law.

As a lifetime resident of the Shenandoah Valley, Chris understands what sort of leadership the community expects- principled conservatism with an emphasis on serving the needs of the public. It is vital that our leaders fundamentally understand that every dollar taken from the taxpayer must, in turn, be respected as the taxpayer’s money.
