Delegate Rob Bloxom represents the 100th District in the Virginia House of Delegates which encompasses Accomack and Northampton Counties, along with portion of Norfolk. In 2015, Delegate Bloxom was elected to his second term in the Virginia House of Delegates where he serves on the House Agriculture, Chesapeake and Natural Resources, House Finance, and House Science and Technology Committees.
Rob is the owner of Bloxom Auto Supply Co., in Mappsville, and Shore Tire & Auto in Onley. He is also the owner and operator of Egret Point Seafood Company. With decades as a small business owner, Rob knows what it means to create jobs, balance budgets and plan responsibly for the future.
He currently serves on the Economic Development Authority of Accomack County. For three years he was a Co-Chair of the Seafood Festival for the Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce. He previously served as an elected Director of the Eastern Shore Soil and Water District and as a member of the statewide Aquaculture Advisory Board.
Born and raised on the Eastern Shore, Rob’s family has been integrally woven into the community for generations. He and his wife, Lou, have been married for 29 years and have three children, Blaire, Madison and Brant. The Bloxoms are active members of Grace United Methodist Church in Parksley.
