Virginia House of Delegates Speaker Kirk Cox raised over $1.1 million in the first six months of 2018, over $170,000 more than Speaker Howell’s strong total from the first six months of 2016. Speaker Cox’s three committees, Friends of Kirk Cox, the Colonial Leadership Trust PAC, and the House Republican Campaign Committee, ended the first six months of the year with over $915,000 cash on hand, after substantial early investments in key districts.

“The 2019 election for the Virginia House of Delegates will be the most pivotal election in the Commonwealth in almost two decades,” said Speaker Cox. “The stakes are high, and we will have the resources we need to defend and rebuild our majority.”

Cox added, “Our fundraising and political operation are already in full swing, investing in field and digital programs in targeted races. In addition to our strong fundraising report, our candidates in key districts have already knocked over 50,000 doors. Our investments in these races will only continue to grow.”
